Motorcycle Stands

Just wanted to let you know about a great place to purchase stands for less than half price anyplace else I'd seen. I bought a set of stands with the spools for my '06 Fireblade to include shipping to Alaska for 133 dollars. They took about two weeks to arrive (we are used to longer shipping times here) but the stands are great! Just wanted to pass on their company name, T-Rex Racing on Ebay. From a satisfied customer. Take Care!!

Is that front & back stands or just one for that price?

Re: Motorcycle Stands

That price is for the Spools, Front and Rear stands, and shipping to Alaska. All the pieces lined right up and went together in about 20 minutes.

I did searches on eBay for T-Rex Racing's eBay store and couldn't find one.

Any hints?

Re: Motorcycle Stands

Did you buy the front fork lift or the front triple tree lift?

That's a pretty good deal, $109.99 for the rear swingarm/spool stnad and a front triple tree stand. (plus $20 shipping)

I bought the Front Fork-lift, and it works great. Did Tom e-mail you a package deal quote for 129.99? That sounds like a great deal too!

No, there's an auction that has the front triple tree stand and the rear spool/swingarm stand for $109.99.

If you add the spools he sells, for $12.50 and shipping, $25.00 (the triple tree stand weighs more), the total is $147.49 for both.

Normally, just one stand cost that much.

Re: Motorcycle Stands

Never can tell the quality of the tubing, hardware and welds without seeing it up close. With a Pitbull you know the quality is top notch ask anyone that has one (then ask how long it has lasted). Then again I am biased

I beg to differ on your quote. Since you most likely don't own a set, why badmouth them?

I'm sorry I didn't mean anything by it really. just a joke. I was playing off of Ab's post. they look decent. and for that price why not take a chance.

Re: Motorcycle Stands

I see the stand for the front is both for the forks and steering neck.

How does the removable top section that lifts the stearing neck connect to the bottom? Is it a solid connection, I can't see how it works in the pics?

The stands look great for the price.

I hope I attached pic correctly......

Now the description: The stearing neck adapter (Upper) inserts itself into the swivel part of the fork stand. It is a very tight fit with the rubber sleeves on the fork brackets. You then add a gator clip through the upper adapter. It really isn't going anywhere on you.

Re: Motorcycle Stands

I just bought some T-Rex stands, the rear and the fork lift and all I can say is "wow". The quality compared to Pit Bull is very close and these stands are very stable. Im glad they come in different colors (not very partial to the gold) and for $104.95 shipped I will never complain. I highly recomend them!

Did you use the shipping calculator or inquire of the seller what international shipping rates were before bidding on the item? Did T-Rex mislead you by mis stating a fee for shipping? if the answer is yes then you just need to contact Ebay, but I am guessing that since you are complaining to us about it that you did non of the above. I am still thrilled with the deal.
