| Proton Flush Mounts, Well Worth it! I’m posting an email exchange that I had with Mike Brunton of HighTechSpeed, makers of the Proton Flush Mount Turn signals. These lights are Awesome and so is the service that I’m getting from HighTechSpeed. I sent this email late on Saturday evening and didn’t expect to get a response until the following week… just a short while later I had a reply! These guys are Awesome! Go with the Protons, they’re Well Worth It!!! "Hello, I have a problem, I just bought your Proton Flush Mounts for my 2006 CBR1000RR. I really love them but when I went to tighten the nut on the Left side, the stud came out (see picture). As you can see I spent quite a bit of time setting these up, shrink tube and clear orange paint so I'm hoping that I can just send the left one back since the right one is installed and working wonderfully. Please let me know what I need to do to get this taken care of as soon as possible (I can't ride until I get this fixed). Thank you for your time! [NewDFW-CBRrider], Thanks for contacting us – the flushmounts look very well done in your orange paint! Great job! Sorry for the problem you have experienced. I can see from the pictures you sent which side it is, so I will send a replacement to you Monday via US Postal that should arrive to you on Wednesday. No need to send that one back in. Thank you, Mike HighTechSpeed" |

| Re: Proton Flush Mounts, Well Worth it! So here is the video I took, Sorry for the quality, Photobucket made me compress the heck out of it ....
This is the strobe mode it also has 2 other modes and they are also running lights....I think I will change the mode and use the strobes as a hazard light setup, just in case I have to stop on the road at night !!! BlinkingLights.flv - Video - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting |

| Re: Proton Flush Mounts, Well Worth it! Thats good. They ought to send another one considering they charge you $100 for the lights. Personally, I just cant see spending that much on a pair of turn signals. If they had a lifetime, no questions ask replacement warranty, and the company will be around another gauranteed 70 years then it might be worth it. |

| Re: Proton Flush Mounts, Well Worth it! I just put these on my CBR 954. I think they rock. Waiting to see what others think of them though, but I really dig the strobe effect. If I get bored I can rewire and it will change. How cool is that? Now if I could get some for the rear like that..... |

| Re: Proton Flush Mounts, Well Worth it! I put a set of these on my 929 and I love them. They look and function better than the bulb style flush mounts I used to have on the bike. It was worth the money to me. |

| Re: Proton Flush Mounts, Well Worth it! Wow, I've been looking at those over and over and over again in the catalog at the local cyclegear for like the last two weeks now...I even found an online "demonstration" of what they looked like, and didn't think they were all that cool. But after seeing the video in action, I'll be ordering them tomorrow morning.
And I think I'll get a set for the rear too. Where am I going to mount them, you say? Well, I was thinking how about in the undertail? |

| Re: Proton Flush Mounts, Well Worth it! This is what my fairings look like from the inside right now. No, I didn't do it myself, it was like that when I bought the bike. I'm just wondering if there is any way that the Protons will still mount up if they're like this? Bueller? Anyone? Anyone?
