58cycle.com problems

Hi all im trying to buy a fullsystem from them but its so darn hard .
the only way they accept payment is via moneygram or wire transfer .
the only way i can pay atm is via wire transfer and the numbers i recive from them does not comply with the IBAN standard according to my bank.
my question is simple . has anyone here had any buisness with them
particulary forreigners and how did it work out .

thanks
-Martin

Re: 58cycle.com problems

I purchased an oem brake lever off ebay from 58cycle. Shipped fast no problems. Maybe you can send an email and have them post it on ebay with a buy it now then pay through paypal.

edit: Actually you can just ask them if its ok to pay with paypal and skip the ebay thing..

I know that a lot of the sellers on Ebay are stopping their usage of pay pal. I did because i sold a shoei X11 dam near new to someone that was international buyer, they got my helmet and they got their money back through paypal. Paypal cannot verify international shipped items and will always give their money back. that is whaat a rep from paypal told me. talk about pissed off. Pay Pal is no good. On the other hand the other forms of payment such as money gram and order. You are also out of money it they decide to screw you. So ebay kinda sucks too. Unless you can just purchase from a local ebay seller of course.

I had a terrible experience with 58cycle.com, I called them a couple of days ago to make sure they had the Akrapovic System I wanted in Titanium and they said yes they had 1 left in stock. The Customer Service Lady I spoke with told me that in order to get free shipping I would have to order online and could not order over the phone (how dumb!). I ordered the part immediately online. A few days later they called me and said that they did not have titanium in stock, only Carbon Fiber! Then I try calling them back to find out how my refund will be issued and they will not answer the phone. Terrible policies and terrible customer service. This is a dishonest seller. I highly recommend that you stay away from 58cycle.
