Sherman Williams Paint

I just wanted to give my advice on this company.. don't buy from them.

I went to their corporate website last night and gave all my personal information including credit card #. The order was for some aerosol primer and was to cost $32 plus tax and stated that i would pick up from their store not far from my home. I arrived at their store today and the manager of the store refused to honor the website price and then said it was going to cost $48 plus tax. We're not talking about a large amount of money here, but it still annoys me. I plan on buying a lot of paint in the future and would have made those purchases from them had they not lied to me. I don't want to potentially get stiffed for hundreds of dollars so I plan on going with another paint supplier.

If you can choose between Sherman Williams and another paint store... i would go with the other paint store.

Yeah, if you live in a big city there should be lots of choices for paint supply stores. The main reason i first chose SW was due to them being just two miles from my home. I'll probably start ordering some paint and supplies online through ebay or other outlets.

Go to their main website see if you can complain to their main customer service. If not, Better Business Bureau ftw.

I complained then informed them they just lost hundreds, potential a couple thousand dollars in sales revenue. I'll buy PPG, SPI, or Dupont from now on.

Auto Paint was the ShermanWilliams i went to. they do both auto and home.
