None of us can do anything. He signed a blank form which was basically a blank check. It is his word against theirs if they went to court. They have a signed document by him agreeing to the charges.
Buying anything from someone with crazy in their name is just crazy. |

This is what I normally do. I believe in karma, but I also believe in making my own karma. This guy who got screwed should strongly consider it...perferably away from any locations that might have cameras, under the cover of darkness, and close to many possible escape routes. Oh, make sure you wear gloves and something that completely covers your head if you have hair. Just a suggestion. |

If that happens a lot, then there should be plenty of paperwork to prove it, since the customer should have his own copy of the documents he signed. |

Maybe. I dont know why this guy hasnt been arrested or shut down and I dont know what recourse these customers have...I know one that somehow got a new bike out of the deal after he got screwed with the original bike he bought and others that just got screwed. |

| Re: RIPPED OFF BY CRAZY FREDDY New to the list here with my 02. Buy with your head and not your heart and remember nothing is free. This guy is a true bait and switch victim because he wanted the bike so badly. Best to contact corporate offices and complain about their dealer and then go straightaway to the lending agency threatening fraudulant business practices then go to Small Claims Court representing yourself and ask for monetary relief. Do it now............. |

| Re: RIPPED OFF BY CRAZY FREDDY I believe there are 2 sides to every story. I also believe that one bad egg cannot spoil the dozen. I have had nothing but good experiences at Crazy Freddy's with an ATV a jet boat purchase and 2 bikes. It sounds to me...and you had even admitted that all you were thinking about is getting on that new bike and was not paying attention to the paperwork at hand. Unfortuately you may have been dealing with a businessman who saw an oportunity and took it. I am not saying it is right to lie to the customer and if he did indeed lie to you then shame on him and there should be repercussions. I would go to Crazy Freddy himself and try to rectify the problem. This is a valuable lesson to all!!! No matter what the purchase, make sure you listen to the stipulations of that purchase. |

| Re: RIPPED OFF BY CRAZY FREDDY OK this is all common sense but not always easy to do:
1) If it is to good to be true it is, walk away.
You cannot get a free bike with the purchase unless it is hot, a piece of crud or you are over paying for the bike you wanted.
2) If the dealer changes the deal when you are paying or signing, get up and leave.
This is a common hard sell technique used to push bad loans and other shifty products once they have you 'wanting' the item. Not only should you refuse the change you should leave altogether as you are dealing with a crook, always a bad idea.
3) If they tell you that they are going to do something different for insurance they are either lying or asking you to knowingly participate in fraud, LEAVE FAST!
At best they are doing the unethical hard sell. At worst you are now an accomplice.
Remember there is plenty of honest dealers out there. You may pay a bit more to PAY a lot less
