I agree with the people saying don't delete it, it has all the information in the thread. if people read the negatives they will also read Freddy's rebuttle. Let THEM make their own decision.

Now if Freddy wants to donate a bike to the "gthotchkiss Get a New Bike Cause" my opinion on the matter could possibly change.

Re: RIPPED OFF BY CRAZY FREDDY

He tried to say "Maybe Crazy Freddy isnt so Crazy" - (in his name)

I think it takes a lot of balls to come and stand up to three pages of pure abuse - not counting the odd good ones here and there.

He has represented himself very well and has given details about how the customers who have had problems can contact him to settle their disputes

Im not saying that him coming on here has helped every problem customers have had with his dealers, but i hope people looking to buy not only from Freddy's but all other dealers will understand what they are purchasing before they sign on the dotted line...

The thread deserves to be left on the site for future reference...

Exactly why this thread shouldn't be deleted.

Also, if you continue to feel the need to add an advertisement for your business at the bottom of your posts, you need to pay to be a Commercial site sponsor.

They can choose to take Freddy up on his offer or they can choose to be warned and go somewhere else. If the day comes that I feel a need to start a similar thread about one of my local shops I will. However they have done nothing that I have any reason to complain about and I doubt they ever will. They definitely haven't ever tried to sell me an $800 helmet or whatever the ridiculous price was that was mentioned here. By him getting on here and offering "Fireblades.org" specials he is just advertising, that post should be deleted until he decides to cough up sponsor money just like everyone else. The other sponsors should be asking for a refund right now. They didn't get free advertising.

I did not offer specials to members of Fireblades. I simply offered to deal with any members directly.

I am uprading to be a member sponser.

I'm ok with the thread staying on the site. There are some unsubstaniated posts.

I will be more then glad to answer or help any customer or member at any time.

Thanks for all of your feedback,

Fred

I agree with you. I am faxing the contracts now. Please have your 5 friends contact me directly. I will sit with each and everyone of them and make them satisfied with their purchase. I can't change the past, I can only help with the future.

Wrong.

What reason on earth would there be to delete this thread?
There has been more than one issue raised in this thread alone by more than one customer of this joint. There are also threads about this place on other message boards on the internet. Simple searching will find that.
There seems to be quite a pattern of customer dissatisfaction there, and the BBB of New York gives them an unsatisfactory rating with at least 20 complaints in the last 12 months - 8 of which the company hasn't responded to and 7 where the customers are still not satisfied.

Then the owner comes on here to "defend his honor", providing incorrect information about the complaint history and never addresses the issues brought up to begin with.

So now, out of the blue, we're all just supposed to take what some dealership shill says at face value when he won't even provide answers to the issues and purposely distorts facts about his BBB rankings (otherwise known as lying)?

Glad I don't live out that way.

The complaints I was reffering to were on busniness practices( as stated in my post). There were only 7 in the last 12 months. I was not lying, so before you make a false allegation, please read my post on the BBB.

I am defending my 4 Dealerships, not my "honor"

I'm not looking for anything from this site other than to state my side of the story. I'm fine with the thread staying. The owner of the site suggested taking it down, and I simply agreed with him and a few other members.

Fred

You don't need to become a sponsor to post your side of the story, that's not what I was implying. Just don't post an ad with your company name, website, etc at the bottom of your posts.

I understand. I know I didn't need to become a sponser to post my side, but I became a sponser because I posted my company name and web site.

What's right is right. Who know's, maybe I will get some business from being here.

Yes there is. They are all standard GE and HSBC forms.

You need to type all of the customer, vehicle, and financing information on their respective website and then it will print the contract on a laser printer (on plain white paper).

This makes it impossible to be signed black and be filled in later as was suggested in a previous post.

about 2 years ago, there were HSBC contracts that were handwritten. We haven't used those in close to 2 years.

Did you see the disclousure statement and etch form? Everything on there is self explanatory and fully discloused. If you looked @ the buyers order, you will see te F&P pre printed in bold.

Please have any of your friends who are not happy with their deal call me, and I will do my best to turn things around for them.

Re: RIPPED OFF BY CRAZY FREDDY

In my own defense, this thread was started by a new member "like myself" he made his name "StyAwyFrmFreDY". He named the thread ripped off by crazy Freddy. He made a total of three unsubstantiated posts. He wrote that he was stupid, in a hurry to ride, and he accused one of my employees of conspiracy to commit insurance fraud. You have to admit, that there is a strong possibility that these posts could have been done by my competition. I have told you that this has happened before. Who in their right mind would choose to join this site and keep the name "StyAwyFrmFreDY"

I sent him a PM to call me to fix his problem. He never responded. He has not even continued to post in almost 6 weeks now.

I don't mind the thread, because people have a right to their own opinions.

What would be appreciated is if the threatening posts like "burn MThr Fucer" and "let's take him out back" etc... were removed.

I am a gentleman who takes responsibility for all the actions of his 130 employees. My employees have big respect for me. I don't feel that it is fair to leave senseless remarks for my friends, employees and family members to read.

Could the name of this thread be changed to "crazy Freddy's" instead of being called "ripped off" being that only the the unknown starter of this thread has a "claim"?

I assure you that anyone that is not happy or does not understand their deal can call or come and see me. This is not the action of someone who "rips off people"

Thanks and have a Happy Thanksgiving,

Re: RIPPED OFF BY CRAZY FREDDY

No problem, nobody should be threatening your well being or encouraging violence against you.. Im sure all the other moderators and site administrators agree.. I just think that maybe this thread got out of hand. Its just when people start talking about getting ripped off things will get heated. When you mess with peoples money which has to do with peoples well being then bad things happen... We stand behind or members and try to support them..

That very well could be, but his claims seem to be backed up by the BBB reports, and by other, longer-term, members who have posted similar accounts.

Thread: RIPPED OFF BY CRAZY FREDDY
Reason: Rule violation #1.. Regardless of or opinion no threats of violence or any threats should be tolerated.

I did not personally threaten him. Now If you want to delete a thread or a post of mine to clean it up, fine. But do not accuse me of something I did not do in the process.

Thank you and have a nice day

Site Rules:
  1. Do not post any material which is exceedingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, racist, harassing, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any form of solicitation.
IMHO saying kick his ass violates this rule.. IF some other mod or administrator wants to remove the soft delete of your post then fine with me.. I was just trying to do my job and stand by my opinion..
