Not to take sides or anything but who are all these people.. SO far not one person has shown any proof to back up your claims or any other claims as well.. If your gonna make all these accusations then make sure you have the proof to back it up.. Why are you making all these claims and not your friend who you claim was ripped off.. Plus if he is an ex employee isn't he aware of how things are done at Freddy's stores? Wouldn't he know what to look out for and what not too.. If its on a GE Money card would it be easy to get a copy of the staement.. Not that im picking sides its just provide some proof of what you claim.. How come you won't name which location? Where is your friend who got ripped off?

Not to be hard on you BSfreddy its just seems strange that you joined this site just to bash freddy.. He offered to put the bill of sale up if you gave him his name.. I just think all these accusations are kind of BS if no one is going to provide any proof.. Im not saying there not true its just everyone is presumed innocent until there is proof otherwise..

I will always address any legitmate complaint or concern.

My employees have definatly not always done the right things when we first opened. I am responsible for their actions. It took me time to realize the ramifications to some of their actions.

I have corrected all problems presented to me. I will handle any complaint that comes my way.

These forums are oppertunities for certain other dealers to "knock" my business.

BSFREDDY, please can you scan the bill into your computer as there are many people including the man you are saying done this waiting to see what has happened. I am eager to see it - and for this constant arguement to finish.

I dont see why you are constantly telling everyone what to think, im not saying you are lying or telling the truth, we need hard evidence and for you to RING HIM and talk to HIM and then sort your problems out.

So you say there was a problem at one point. While I dont know the timetable if what you are saying is true is it possible that all these deals happened before the problem was addressed? Me being local and hearing from a bunch of different people at different times talk about your store and have nothing good to say about it will leave a negative impression on people. I dont know BSFreddys story but go to 21 on a weekend night or Giggles on a Thursday or any biker party and ask a few people if they know about Freddys and then tell me their reaction. I dont know if this guys has a personal beef but the word on the street is if you go to Freddy expect to get ripped off. Like it or not...that is the truth. If you are genuine and are serious about addressing these issues then I respect that, but the truth of it is, these issues are out there and until your image changes you may have to deal with a lot of negativity.

The time table was the first 6 months that we were open @ the Massapequa store. Summer of 2006.

We will continue to work hard. It will take time.

My competition had plenty to do with my reputation as well as my own people. They do not budget the amount of advertising as me and sometimes this is their way. I am not pushing the responsibilty off, but just making people aware of that issue.

We definatly run a volume business. There are a lot of people who like small stores. When you have over 20 sales people in 1 store you are bound to have some guys who are not riders, and the the customers sometime resent it.

We probably total more bikes sold then all of our competition put together. With the volume of good business we are doing now the old negativity will soon be taken out by the positive.

Man, this post got ugly quick. Granted I haven't posted on this topic in a while but when I posted my experience, to be fair Fred, addressed it pretty well in my opinion, and honestly, I'll probably stop in there and talk to him when I decide to pick up another bike. I'd rather take up his "talk to me first" offer than deal immediately with a regular sales guy. But SmoothrideronLI did pose a good point, the place's street cred is pretty poor. I think if the place does follow up the way Fred is claiming, that would probably turn around shortly. And c'mon that story about a 12....or now 14k kids quad.......that has to be a load of poop.....yes, I said poop.

People who own and operate there own business know that it is impossible to please everyone.. If you are a large volume dealer than you are going to have happy customers and unhappy ones.. Its always the unhappy ones that you will hear the most from.. Thats because the happy ones are out enjoying their new bike... So far not one person has provided any proof about being ripped off by Fred, its only been what they heard from someone else.. Which amounts to nothing but hearsay.. And a few people have said they had good experiences with Fred and got what they believe to be a good deal.. Its the people that purchased a product from Fred's business that Im gonna believe, not the ones that heard from a friend that about a bad deal.. Until I see some sort of proof otherwise.. How many people have had something said about them throughout there life that wasn't true? Everyone...

The thing is, its not his bike - he is fighting for someone else. I dont understand why he is being so ignorant about the situation - GIVE THE PHONE NUMBER TO YOUR MATE AND LET THEM FIGHT THEIR OWN BATTLES.

This thread has got slightly out of hand, but it needs to be settled before it is closed.

Whether BSFreddy is telling the truth or not Im not sure. Either way this thread has gives Freddy and his customers a place to post their opinions and their experience and for people who may not be aware to make their own opinion. So IMHO this thread is not BS because it serves a purpose. Read the posts and make up your own mind. Before I read this thread I had it in my head that Crazy Freddy is the last place you want to go for a bike. After reading Freddys response I am at least willing to hear his side of the story and I may take Freddy up on his offer and stop by and talk to him myself. Information given to a consumer is never a bad thing whether it be good or bad and that is the purpose this thread serves. I am not convinced about Crazy Freddy but I am at least willing to listen.

I think this guy is SLIGHTLY suspect that he joined the other day and is ONLY posting on this thread. He's the Anti-BSfreddy. I mean They're discrediting one for making a name to defame, but this guy SEEMS to have made his name to defend. Now I'm not at all saying that no good has come out of Freddy's, and that this guy isn't what he claims, but this does seem kinda fishy. I wish some more guys who have been here longer had something good to say.....again.....big fan of the parts guys

While there may have been a lot of bashing coming from a few people there is a lot of good information is in this thread.
