Help

I previously posted this in the general section but was told to post it here =)

Hey guys (or gals) I’m a little new to the whole motorcycle world, bought my very first bike a few weeks ago and I was wondering where are the best places to meet other bikers? Where is the best place to buy gear? (I could use a new helmet and riding jacket, I’ve gained a few pounds Anything will be helpful

Thanks - Zach

Re: Help

If you want to try stuff on before buying, Cycle Gear is a decent place. They are all over the country. Go to cyclegear.com and hit the locator. Welcome to the site!!!

Cycle Gear is decent, prices aren't fantastic but they do have a good selection. I bought a Dainese leather jacket there. They do have good sales, check out their website, I think they some kind of 10% after hours sale going on right now. (It might only be on weekends, I don't have the flyer with me)

Re: Help

Wow, I was gonna recommend CycleGear, but I work there and I felt it might be kinda taken the wrong way, like I'm just trying to recommend them since I work there.

I've always thought our prices are pretty good and we guarantee the lowest price in the area, but we don't compete with online sellers. But the best thing I think is the 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. You don't have to worry about the warranty on anything you buy from there, because if you ever have an issue with something you buy that you feel might be warranty-related, just bring it back and CycleGear will take care of it. That's not just the store I work at, it's the company's policy at all of it's stores. Also, most places if you want to try something that they don't have, you have to order it and you're kinda stuck with it once you order it. With CycleGear you're still required to put down a 50% deposit, but there's no obligation to buy and the deposit is refundable if you decide not to get the ordered item. Wrong size, don't like it, found something better in the meantime...doesn't really matter why. Hell, I don't even ask people why anymore. If they say they don't want it, that's that. We just put it out on the floor for regular retail, and see about either getting the customer what they do want or refunding them their money.

Anyway, just saying what I think about my company.
