Re: Crazy freddys rip off

The previous thread about Crazy Freddies stores was about three pages long, its been closed but remains on here. Have a read through and ring him up and explain your problem, Freddy has shown himself to be a genuine bloke so i have no reason to doubt his high level of customer service.

There should be a phone number in one of these threads

RIPPED OFF BY CRAZY FREDDY

Questions for Crazy Freddy

Again you cannot blame this whole thing on him, he runs a company and its a dog eat dog world out there - just reminds you to check everything before you sign on the dotted line eh?

Good luck

Re: Crazy freddys rip off

Wondering if maybe the sales guy also sold him like a service package...you know, like for such-and-such amount we'll cover all the services within the first year/so-many miles???

Also, wondering if maybe the number he is looking at that reads 15 grand is possibly the amount he will end up paying total over the life of the loan? Yeah, you walk in to a dealership to buy a bike. They say it's ten grand. You finance it. You walk out thinking "okay, 10 grand financed and another 200 in TTL fees, not bad, 10200 for a new bike." Nope. Add in the interest on that 10 grand over the life of the loan and depending on the rate it's gonna be a lot higher.

It better not be, i dont think this forum wants another re-run of the old one.

Ergh.

Re: Crazy freddys rip off

I'm 2 new to know Freddy but he is a owner it's not his fault some one did not read the paper work no one should be bashing him for this there are plenty of Honda dealers out there just go somewhere else if you don't like the price I buy parts from Rockstarmoto.com in my town, I know for some stuff I pay more but it's the fact they get it fast like next day with no shipping charged to me, Same thing with dealers.

lets not forget how much the price of that bike goes up when honda finances u at a whole 19% interest (speaking from experience); and tack on that extended warranty.15k adds up quick

sorry, let me correct myself. its not 19% interest, its 17.99%. i bought mine for $8,999.00 before tax title and license. but after finance charges, prep and freight and t's mine will cost me $15,761.00. unless i refinance with a better interest rate at a later date

Re: Crazy freddys rip off

That sucks,
stay away from the honda cards I bought 2 quads on honda card and yes I was young when I did that but you can get all kinds of cool stuff because it's a revolving acct. pay it down and just go get a new leather jacket or some more parts.

Not good at all do not get the HONDA CARD creidt unions all ways have good deals for new and used bikes my 954 is only 5 % and that was used it's better if you buy new.

So you are complaining about the interest rate? There is nothing that can be done except for you to have good credit and refinance it.

Consider this, purchase price $9000, less than average credit, long term financing to get to a certain monthly payment and presto! Total purchase price including tax, title, and tags financed with no down payment for 84 months at 12% = $15,000 for a 600cc bike. It's possible!

10495-9000=1495

So, you paid 1495 in taxes, titling, licensing fees, etc. I don't know, it's been years since I bought a new bike. Does that sound outrageous to anyone or is that about average, especially for new york?

Well Tax on the bike is 776.25, and I know Freddy said himself they charge a few hundred in setup/freight fees(details were in one of the other threads), then tack on DMV.................you get the picture.

Pretty possible, local Duc dealer is charging $695 set-up, $50ish doc fees, plus sales tax. That would come pretty close to 1495.

I was looking at buying a car recently. I made them add up everything line by line, their best price - trade in + sales tax + doc fees + freight, etc. Then when that total added up to $1500 more than I was willing to pay I made them deal from there. They quickly added $1000 to my trade in and took $500 of the price. It is the ONLY way to do it. You decide how much money you have to spend then subtract taxes, title, insurance, tags, etc. Then work from there.

Who is bashing who now? Except the title which is a little hard I didn't see a single post from him bashing Freddy. So what makes you think you can bash him? he might be wrong and not understand something about the sale but still no reason for you to bash him.

No, I wasnt complaining about the interest rate b/c it was either high interest or no bike. just simply stating (with proof from my own paperwork) that after all is said and done a 600rr can cost over 15,000. I just try not to think about it and enjoy riding.

Then what is the point of this thread? Why did you even create it? You bashed them and made a complaint. But yet you say you aren't bashing anyone or complaining.

Re: Crazy freddys rip off

Just read this for the first time tonight.

a $9000 bike plus our freight and asssembly charge would total $9890. Tax and DMV fees would add close to another $1000. That's almost $11,000 right there.

In this credit crunch market the banks are very high on the rates and barley approving anyone with less than perfect credit right now.

I would be more than happy to speak with this person and reveiw his deal with he him at any time.

I'm tired of the un substantiated B.S. I'm a fair person and will only deal in a reasonable manner.
