are you sure about that? I know a lot of dealers around here charge some kind of setup or uncrating fee, something like that

Re: Crazy Freddy's Continued

YES, yes I am sure of that.
But to refrase it. They get money credits for each prep.
The last three NEW bikes I bought from three different dealers in two different states ALL told me the same thing.
But I'm not a 16 year old little boy. That might make a difference.

I can't believe ppl are still talking about this. You mods threatened to delete the post because he showed no signs of prof. Well back up you claims and delete it then. Is there no end to the pointless ranting.

And to the freight and set up fee. All dealers around here try to charge for it. The smart people say they will not pay for it. But yes some the first time bikers that don't know a set of leathers from from shoe laces end up getting effed over.

Re: Crazy Freddy's Continued

Yeah, pretty much every single dealer in this entire area around here charges those too. In fact, most of them have the price tags listed with the MSRP printed, then the freight charge written in, shipping charges and whatever else also. The bottom line is that the price they are selling it for is NEVER close to or lower than the MSRP.

Re: Crazy Freddy's Continued

I bought I got all the warranties with it when i really didnt need it. i tried to cancel them and Crazy Freddys told i couldnt cancel them. so i called the warranty companies themselves they said that they had to refund them. when the companies checked my warranties hey said that crazy freddys never paid for my warranties so i wasnt in there system. When they called them crazy freddtys gave the warranty company an attitude and then told them that they didnt have my warranty info. I wish that i could cancel all my warranties, if i could go back i would have just purchased the bike itself. The warranty company said that i should be refunded all my money for at least the extended warranty since i technically didnt use any of it because i am covered under the manufactered warranty for one year which ends this november. I hope that i can resolve these issues with crazy freddys but i seem to be in a phone battle getting in touch with these guys. my gsxr cost 7800 and i ended up paying 16499 after everything was set and done. that didnt seem like much of a deal.

It's because people are still getting screwed. I think this thread is invalueable.

I don't know about that. One could argue that CF preys on the illiterate.

But, every CF complaint that I've read has one thing in common: the buyer agreed to the written terms of the transaction at the time of sale.

But i have to agree with you, its not really CF's fault.

The buyer has the option to read all the small print, and if i was laying down something like the price of a new bike, i would have to take the sheets home, study them and ask if i would be paying anything else.

Ive seen people stung over the years, and i myself have been stung before, but you learn from your errors and learn not to trust anyone out there - especially if they are working for money

I was not talking about anyone in particular, just Honda dealers who charge a fee that they were already PAID FOR! So whoever is in that group can consider themselves, "Called out!"

Re: Crazy Freddy's Continued

There is no fine print.

All warranties have been paid for.

Your warranty is cancelable in full if you did in fact purchase it in November.

We will be more than glad to assist. I don't know which store you purchased the bike from. If it's Massapequa, please call Jim Reda @ 516-795-6400 Ext 2.

According to who? Someone that just joined and their first post is bashing someone? If the person has a reputation here and they call foul, then I will believe it. Either CF is pulling a fast one on all of us, or these complaints have no merit. CF is a sponsor on this board and didn't have to pay to be one. The people complaining is always their first post. For all we know, it is the same person/group.

People get wrapped in the moment and don't think. I picked up my '08 RR LE and had a $500 deposit on it. As soon as they put the papers in front of me and didn't see the deposit, I asked. The deposit was shown on the next set of papers.

I don't think it is the job of anyone to sit there and go through every line unless you ask them too. I know I would be bored as $h!t if they did that. Just like they are required to show you how the bike works and what everything does. They didn't for me as my brother in-law is in sales and his boss is a good friend of his and somewhat of a friend to me. He has asked me about several products that are designed for the '08 RR. He also wants to see pics of what I do to it and what I used. It helps him.

Re: Crazy Freddy's Continued

While I do not think Crazy E ripped this guy off I have issue with the way some of you are looking at this.
A lot of people are saying something to the effect that Eddy is the owner not the guys that sold the guy the bike so dont blame him etc etc. WRONG Eddy is the ower and IS on every lever responsible for the actions of his employees. anyone who has been an owner/operator of a business knows that all too well.
The other thing is a lot of comments have been made like "but you signed it etc etc... your fault for not reading it first" While on some level yes his own ignorance did cost him it does not mean it is his fault and responsibility he got ripped off (if in fact he did which I am not claiming) and the sales person is not in the wrong. This is like saying it isnt the crooks fault he robbed your house because you left the door unlocked. A persons ignorance of the situation is not an excuse for unethical actions. Want to know how many people are in jail for taking advantage of people who didnt know any better?

Crazy Freddy has tried to address each complaint that's been posted here...far more than what some other dealers would have done. You walk into ANY dealership..car, boat, or bike, you better damn well know what you're signing. If not, don't cry if you're unhappy with the total cost of the purchase.

Re: Crazy Freddy's Continued

We fully disclose everything we sell. Line by Line, in triplicate. We have a full Menu selling & disclosure system. Every Item is broken out on the bill of sale. Every customer knows what they are buying and what they are signing for when they leave with their new bike.

Accessories, clothing, warranties, chrome, exhausts etc...

don't forget sales tax, and insurance.

Once again my door is always open to handle any legit complaint.
