Re: Crazy Freddy's Continued

"I quoted you because I responded to your post. You said that CF is responsible for the actions of his employee. You are correct. However, we don’t know what transpired as none of us were there; including CF. The posters joined on the 16th and their first and only post was a bash. Now many new people join the site and do a search to find an old thread? Not many, they just create a new one."
---I sure did .... and if you read it I said I did not think he was at fault and was pretty clear about it. The post was about the comments people were making not what the original poster said happened... I believe I said that too.---

"You are the one that mentioned this:
“This is like saying it isnt the crooks fault he robbed your house because you left the door unlocked.”

I added the car bit. What do you think the police will do when they find out you left the keys in the car? I doubt they will be looking too hard for it. The person that stole it still committed a crime. The insurance company will do nothing though."
---I think they will look for the thief anyway and if they do not they should be reported and fired. I hope you are not saying that someone making a mistake or being stupid means the police are excused from doing their job? Next time a girl gets raped for going to a bar on her own wearing a hot dress and getting buzzed I will be sure to tell her you believe it is her problem and should have expected it. ---

"You said it yourself; unethical actions can be a crime. People are put in jail for committing a crime and not an unethical action. Some laws and created for unethical actions, but then it is a law and not an unethical action. You can lie and not be put in jail. In you lie under oath, that is a different story. If you lie to make a sale, that can be illegal as well. If you lie to the person that calls you up trying to sell you something, while unethical it is not a crime."
---Um... I don't know how to respond to that mostly because it made no sense.
"Some laws are created for unethical actions but then its a law and not an unethical action" Huh?
I think you just disproved your own point. Some unethical actions are crimes hence you can be put in jail for them. Pretty much what I said.---

Anyway this is going nowhere. If you want to believe victims of a crime are at fault if they are irresponsible I am not going to tell you otherwise.

Seems like these posts go nowhere. When someone makes a post like this maybe they should be given Freddys contact info and then the post deleted. A bunch of people arguing about something that is total speculation with no solid information probably is not helping anyone.

I agree.

I'm off this thread.

The only problem I see with that. In the case of the lastest complaint, they joined and then on that same day, they post a complaint. They haven't been back since. They also did a search for an existing thread (uncommon for a newb on a board) and posted. They had all they needed in this thread to contact CF, but they decided to post a bash instead of contacting CF. Just my opinion.

Admins/Mods:
Perhaps you should consider deleting this thread, as it is baseless, and only points fingers in a negative way (which screams of Spam).
I believe a new thread (or this one cleaned of the Spam) should focus on CF's sales, the pro's and con's. If a sale is not positive, then the poster should state why, and proof of purchase should be a requiste of posting negatives to insure legitamacy.

Re: Crazy Freddy's Continued

Maybe make it a sticky thread e.g. terms and conditions of posting in the thread e.g. have to have proof etc?

Re: Crazy Freddy's Continued

Yeah this has gone on to long , If you can't supply proof then don't post it's as simple as that .
It seems that every time this happens its the members first post about how they were taken for a ride over financing , but I've yet to see one ounce of proof .

Re: Crazy Freddy's Continued

I know that i have not posted any other messages because i do not want to make the dealership look bad. I am trying to contact them and work things out. So far i havent made any progress every though he said i could cancel the warranties on this forrum. I am going to continue calling and get my issue resolved.

Re: Crazy Freddy's Continued

Did you call CF as he suggested? No. Did you read the thread and try to contact CF first? No. Have you provided any proof? No.

After much discussion, and little facts, this thread is now closed.
