Crazy Freddy's Continued

Hi, im new to this forum and to bikes in general. A while ago i went to this dealership and bought a bike that i was told ide be getting for 9000 (b4 taxes and all that) a long story short after going over my paperwork when i got home i come to find out that i was charged 10495 for the bike. My fault for not reading and just signing, but anyway long story short i paid 15000+ for a left over 2007. after speaking with close friends who have been riding for years i came to realize the situation, and come to realize that this kind of grade A salemanship has been going on for a while and happend to many other people. I think thats a pretty messed up thing to blatently take advantage of someone like that. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do about a matter like this? I was told some things by other dealers but i want to get some more oppinions. thank you in advance!

You pretty much summed it up yourself. He's a member here. Why dont you contact him directly. He seems to be very receptive to his customers concerns.

Re: Crazy freddys rip off

That sucks man, not much you can do once the paperwork is signed. Luckily Freddy is on this forum, why not PM him when you can. He's been pretty up front on here before. I know this isn't the first time this happend, and I'm sure it won't be the last, but I'm sure he'll have an answer for you. Good luck.

If that's the case, then starting from the beginning of the thread, we've got...

1. mrx733 (not crazy)
2. jhonda41 (not crazy)
3. TattooedGQ (not crazy)
4. lanbrown (crazy)
5. .OrgOwner (not crazy)
6. Ol' Gravy Leg (not crazy)
7. -Z- (not crazy)
8. ???? (predetermined to be crazy)

And yeah, let's see what happens with this thread...

Re: Crazy freddys rip off

nah, we called his bluff to abruptly.

nobody refers to an 07 600RR as just "a bike" as in I bought a bike. that's a huge decision and a world class bike. you better believe i'm going to metion it my post.

and why would the charge be $1k over msrp? how arbitrary.

Wow no offense but I think ur crazy for paying 15000 for a freakin 600. Even 900 is to much in my opinion. Last year my budd got a GSXR 1000 left over for 9500 out the door. That's a 1000, way more a bike than a baby 6. Just my .2 though. But yea shoulda read over every thing twice. Sux man

Re: Crazy freddys rip off

Yeah, 15 grand is HUGELY OVERPRICED for an 07 CBR600RR. I mean, if it wasn't that expensive when they were brand new, no reason it should be now, a year later. Something is not quite right here.

No no no, there is no gold or rubies,it has a poosey magnet installed. I bet it is behind the left side fairing. This is a official Borat Honda. Well worth every penny.

Ouch and sorry to hear but not reading what you sign is a no-no. You don't give someone a blank check or your credit card number to charge whatever they want either.

Did Freddy reply to you?

I also would change the title because it wasn't a rip off but rather taking advantage of your carelessness.

Not down this road again.. Please provide some sort of proof to back your claims.. Freddy is a Sponsor and a valuable member to this forum, and has more than gone out of his way to explain how he runs his operations.. SO if no proof is soon too follow than im sure everyone already knows where this thread is going..

Flame all you want.. BUT.....

If mrx733 doesn't provide some sort of proof to what he claims happened then why is it fair to bash a fellow member and sponsor.. Also to everyone who puchases a bike or anything where money is involved... PLEASE READ OVER WHAT YOU SIGN... Its you own fault if your not going to take the time to read over all the documents when you make any type of purchase..

Re: Crazy freddys rip off

didn't the last freddy flame thread involve "not reading the paperwork" before signing?

going through with a fine tooth comb is one thing. but you'd have to avert your eyes not to see the price staring you in the face when you signed!

Re: Crazy freddys rip off

Look mrx733 I do not want to beat up on you but any one who thought paying 15000.00 for a bike under 1000cc that did not say Ducati or Yamaha R7 on it should not be buying a bike you can get a brand new 08 1000RR for less that that at any OTD, Are you sure this bike is stock and does not have after market parts on it like exhaust or forks or rear shock come on next time you go to the dealer take you friend and make sure he brings a hammer so that if you start to sign something make sure he hits you with it.
The sales people at dealer ships are paid comision they are going to try everything to sell a bike and to make you pay as much as possiable, let me gess you got an extended warranty 2 that only covers the engine it's a Honda good luck using that nothing will brake.

Any way, You need to go ride the bike have lots of fun and don't think about the money you spent, Money you spend on toys does not count any way right!!!!!

Good luck.
