Starcycle-usa.com (horrible)

Just bought my first bike and it still has factory everything, so i decided on a two bros m5 slip on exhaust, cause it sounds nice and deep (or i hope). Checked out twobros.com and it was 499 so i took their part number to google. first thing that came up was starcycle-usa.com , and they had the same pipe in stock with free shipping for 449. i was excited cause it was 50 dollars cheaper.... wrong.. they called me after i called them to make sure my pipe was being 2 day delivery and they confirmed that for me.. well then later that nite they call me back asking if i want something different cause that specific pipe is on backorder for 6-8 weeks... i said no and return all my money... he said ok.. still waiting for my money, but then i decided to see if it was on back order at twobros.. called them up and guess what in three days it will be on my door step...arrghh.. all this for 50 dollars cheaper.. should of went there first..

oh well .. u live, u learn, then get f**ked

I actually visited their store when they were located in Canyon County a couple of years ago. I was hoping to see a huge in-stock gear, instead I saw a 300 sq ft store with basically nothing in stock. It is possible that they have a huge warehouse somewhere else, but I was very dissapointed. Looks like they moved their store to Lebec.

quick update.. i talked to lyn the president of starcycle and he was very polite with me on returning my money, he also said that he is one of two bros largest sellers, and was pissed that they sold it to me and not to him.. i understand how the business cycle works and would rather got it from star, but now i am rumbling around with the slip on... its amazing...

Re: Starcycle-usa.com (horrible)

My name is Brandon Kilgore and I am a regional rep for Two Brothers Racing. I wanted to reply to your post about Star Cycle because they are an extremely reputable company. If any bad information was passed onto you, it would have came from one of us over here at Two Bros. Lyn at Star Cycle has been in the moto industry for a long time, and works hard to give the best possible service to all of his customers. Star stocks tons of inventory, but if there is something that they don't have, they all work hard to get it as soon as possible and supply you with the most accurate ETA's available.

After working in this industry for a while I know of many places to buy aftermarket parts, and Star Cycle is the first place I would go in order to ensure I am going to get the best price and service I can get.

You can email me directly if you have any questions or concerns as I don't usually monitor any web forums. bkilgore@twobros.com Thanks.
