Hey guys, I ordered brakes and a jersey from BikeBandit.com

last Saturday that were supposedly "in stock". As soon as I submitted the order, the items went to "on order". I checked yesterday (a week later) and the items are still on order. I sent an email to customer service, and they sent back a rubber stamp response that they would be shipped within 24-48 hours (like they said to start with).
I have now ordered them from another company and I will return the entire order to BikeBandit.com. I have already called my credit card company (AmEx) and told them I will dispute the charge if the online store gives me problems with the return. They said not to worry, and they will take care of the problem. They agreed that I should order from another company and return the items.
If we start sending back orders for bad customer service, maybe these companies will learn that they have to do the right thing.
I had the same issue with Motorcycle Superstore when I ordered my tires, but accepted the order because I need the tires to get the bike back on the road. I will not order from them again either
