| WTB: 929 track bodywork I decided to hold on to my bike for another season or 2 so I am looking for some race/track bodywork for my 2001 929.
Doesn't need to be perfect or fully painted (or even painted well) and a little rash doesn't bother me either.
Cheaper price (but not quality) the better, but if you have something fully painted and in great shape, I'd be interested too.
Anyone got anything sitting around they aren't using anymore?

| Re: WTB: 929 track bodywork I bought used race plastics for my 929 about a year ago and havent used them once. I was into doing trackdays but haven't had the time or money right now and I don't even know that I'd switch them out, even if I do another trackday. They are in pretty good condition and need painting if you desire. Let me know what ya think and maybe I'll sell them. |

I placed the ad looking for the stuff. If you want bodywork, place your own ad, don't try to take stuff out from under me.
Sorry, it just seems a bit rude for someone to jump into a wanted posting with send pic's to me too along with a price and potentally starting a bidding war.
Maybe a better way of jumping in would be saying something like "if the deal falls through, let me know because I also might be interested", something like that.

| Re: WTB: 929 track bodywork Ok, I have decided to go ahead and sell them to someone who will use them. The brand is Multi-Tech. I never had them mounted but bought them used from a person I did trackdays with. I also have the fasteners. I paid $500 for them and would like to get what I have into them. Shipping might be a bit expensive cause of size but they are really light. I will take pics tomorrow after work and figure out how to post pics on here. Miwebber929 has first bids then ALVAROG1983.
Thanks,
George |

Thanks,
George | OK, $500 is just too much for unpainted bodywork for me that is not Sharkskinz. Sorry.
Was kind of hoping to land more in the $200 range for some beatup stuff someone had laying around. |

Originally Posted by gliberios HAHAHA!!! You sound like I offended you. They are painted white and red. Good luck! ALVAROG1983...interested? | Nope, no offense taken at all. I am looking for something different than what you were selling, that's all. From what you told me from the beginning, the stuff wasn't painted, so I guess I am a bit confused as to why you are telling me it's now painted.
And for me, $500 is just getting too much to pay for a brand I have not heard of or familiar with. I personally know 2 people who bought "off" brand bodywork and got screwed. For $600 I can get brand new Cheetah, for $650 I can get new Sharkskinz. And I was hoping for $200-300 I could get used something
So I hope you sell it, just wish I wouldn't have passed up some other stuff waiting for pictures from you.
Thanks anyway! |

Good luck,

I've got a set of Sharkskins in your price range. They are a little rashed but still more than adequate for track days. Sending pics. |
