My daughter has one. She likes it. She has the mini which they don't make anymore. Had it almost a yr with no issues. Got my son an MP3 player. Cost less, has more features and more storage.

I'm fairly certain that they are all priced the same no matter where you buy one. I'd say go to Best Buy and make sure to get the 2 year replacement warranty.

Sold my 1G shuffle for $65.00, sorry.

Have you tried EBay?

I've been using the Sirius S50 and LOVE it. Just another option to look into.

Yeah, I looked at ebay but ebay prices are as much or more than the retail stores. Basiclly I am looking for something used but in decent condition. I would like to use it at work and on the bike so it will probably get injured pretty quickly.

Word up... I've bought several things refurbed from apple and if it didn't come in a brown box that said refurbished on the outside, I would have never known...

check out www.dealmac.com occasionally for iPod deals at amazon and sometimes buy.com... Recently, amazon and a few others dropped the price of the 30Gb iPod (the video), indicating to me that a bigger "low end" model the same size may be coming... But the best deals are a deal from amazon or the refurbs, hands down.

Having said that, I did impulse on a 1Gb Black Nano last week. I couldnt' help it, I was in the apple store, it was there, I had my card in hand, it was over...

Theres no more deals on ebay anymore, the only deals left on there are scams.

I bought my iMac from apple.com refurb dept. Smooth sailing every step of the way. I think it arrived at my doorstep two days after ordering.

I love my iMac. Almost as much as my iPod.
