Re: wanted solo Seat cowl for 929 That is perfect for what I want but I dont have that kind of change laying around. For $100 I can get both my wheels powder coated white and cleared. That would come first. Im hoping to find the seat cowl pretty cheap. If it needs paint it isnt the end of the world I would just have to wait till summer to have it painted

Re: wanted solo Seat cowl for 929 So you're on the cheap. Good luck with that. I got one about three years ago for my 01 red/blk from Powerbronze in the UK. I shopped a long time for mine. I found that the Targas were everywhere but I didn't care for their BOXY look. The powerbronze is much more streamlined and retains the sleek look of the tail section the most compared to other cowls. I paid $100 for mine and the color was red but it was UK Fireblade red instead of the US Winning Red. I paid another $50 to get the piece color matched. I'm really happy with it. IMHO it's the best looking solo cowl for the 929 I've seen. Good luck.

Re: wanted solo Seat cowl for 929 Thanks for the info. Yeah im on the cheap I just bought the 929 in january and i bought battleax tires to replace the corsas when they wear out. bought a custom undertail, seat covers, and a 2 bro exhaust. On top of that I have3 cars so I have alot of insurance payments so im at the point I'd like to find a cheap one but with the custom seat covers i can wait because the seat covers look sweet. I'll post pics soon. But with the seat covers andthe undertail the white wheels will look sweet. so I'll do that when i have to replace the tires.

Re: wanted solo Seat cowl for 929 I don't understand why seat cowls are so damn expensive. Heck, i'd think they would be less expensive to make than a hugger and those goes for like $50 painted.

Re: wanted solo Seat cowl for 929 I'd like a red hugger to but those go for too much like $45 for a cracked one. And 80 for a new painted on. If I didnt have show cars and a dily driver and just the bike and my daily I could afford more but now im strung out so tight It seems like people can charge as much as they want for about anyting. Its like OIL. It goes doen $1.67 and the prices go up 15 cents a week until it goes back up then they charge $and extra 35 cents until it drops then it goes up 15 I dont get it. if the **** drops a buck or two they should lower gas prices. Makes me contemplate hijacking a gas tanker. but my luck it would empty.

Re: wanted solo Seat cowl for 929 Too much fun. Its like me telling you to sell your bike. one is daily driver, other is summer daily driver/show car and the other is strictly show. I only owe payments on the 929 and daily driver. Probably one drive summer car this year because the insurance and gas prices. That way they dont cost anything sitting in my barn. By driving the summer car it keeps miles off daiky driver and keeps value up. but i still have to pay insurance on daily if i drive summer car. It hard to give up the toys ya know.
