I need the bolts (2x each side) that hold the caliper brackets to the forks on an SP1 RC51 (not the bolts that hold the calipers to the brackets). I've gone to a couple different dealers and checked online and all the fiche show that these bolts cannot be purchased separately... the dealers keep saying that I'd have to buy the entire lower fork assembly...

Does anyone have a set of these laying around that they'd like to sell? or do you know the size so I can go to a hardware store and get something that will work?

Yes, #26 are the exact bolts I'm trying to locate. I placed an order a couple months ago, and after waiting weeks without hearing anything I called and they said - "Sorry, we didn't let you know, but those have been discontinued". If you clink the link for #26 to the left of the fiche, instead of letting you order the part, it now says 'Your search returned 0 records'.
The fiche at the Honda dealers show the same picture, but they can't order the bolts OR the brackets (#1 & 2 on the fiche) - they say I'll have to order the entire lower fork assembly to get those parts. I recently found some used brackets, but I'm still searching for those bolts...
Anybody have any that they're not using???

Just as I thought... I'm back to square one AGAIN! This time I ordered the bolts through Service Honda and they just called to say that the bolts have actually been discontinued... same story I got from Ron Ayers.
This is really getting old - I've been going in circles now for months trying to find 4 lousy bolts - why are these parts impossible to find???

Well, we know that they are a metric 10x25 bolt, right? If you could verify the thread pitch you could just call up any bolt shop and buy a few. Or order some titanium ones from yoyodyne.

Grade 12.9 metric allen head bolts will do just fine.

It's what I'm using at the moment. 12.9 is good stuff.
