| WTB cheap track bike Prefer SV650 but will consider anything. Salvage title, no title is fine. I like extras like spare wheels, sprockets, etc.
Must be within 500 or so miles of 73703 Enid, Oklahoma.
PM me with what you have for sale if you are near me. Let me know what extras comes with it too. |

If I gotta drive 1000+ miles round trip it has to be a real steal. I would jump on alot of the stuff on there if it was closer. |

Yep, guess it doesn't add up. |

If you don't want to drive, even paying shipping, you'll come out well ahead.
When I was looking seriously for a trackbike, $3800 often wouldn't even get you a non-repaired crashed one that was decent. And no aftermarket stuff. |

| Re: WTB cheap track bike I think RAHVFR just had a racebike shipped in, and it was less than $400, if I recall.
But if I were you, I'd just beg, borrow, or steal a truck and drive it out to Cleveland, check out the rock n' roll museum, throw a match in the Cuyahoga river, run like hell, and bring it home in a triumphant haze of exhaustion. You might even get a track day in on the way home..
I took my wife to pick up my SV in Philadelphia, and it was a fun, memorable trip. |

Your not reading me correctly. I want a cheap track bike. Not necessarily something that is going to win major races. By the time I add up gas, lodging, food, and cost of bike its going to be about 4400 to bring that 600RR home. Not to mention 28 hours of driving. Which I do not enjoy especially since no one will want to take this trip with me.
I want something I can learn on. This is my first track bike. I'd rather spend $2500 on an older bike that probably won't win any races than spend twice that and still not win any races and decide its not for me.
Now if that 600RR was nearby I would pick it up because that just would be a good deal. |

| Re: WTB cheap track bike Well, ND isn't going to have trouble selling at that price, and you don't seem to really want to hear it...so I'm out.
Good luck. Trackbikes are fun. |

Fact is, you're going to have a VERY difficult time finding what you want close to you. ForwardAir could get the 600RR to you for about half what you stated you think it will cost you to drive there.
I got my bike out of southern CA for ~$360 and had it in my van the next afternoon. No real need to limit yourself to nearby bikes.
Good luck. |

Good luck. | I shipped once before I vowed never to do it again. Call me crazy. Besides its nice to see the thing before you fork over a couple thousand for it. I buy stuff on ebay all the time and get it shipped to me but a whole bike I'd rather find local. I am going to meet a guy in Memphis about a 02 GSXR track bike he is selling it for $2600 its a little dinged up but that doesn't bother me. We'll see how it goes. I'l post pics if I get it. |
