I want one too. I would even take one with a scratch on it. |

Re: Wanted Rear Tire Hugger Yellow 01 929 I bought one made in England for my 929 and was really disappointed - although it looks really good, the function does not follow the form. You need something that hugs the tire well over the vertical line drawn through the rear axle to even begin to keep your undertail and shock reasonably clean. Mine is a Red Fox. It is too short and has really nice looking cutouts on either side of the tire hugging section - the cutouts are the main culprit in letting the dirt fly by. I had no problem with the quality and the installation was easy. I would appreciate input from anyone who has a hugger that actually works.

Re: Wanted Rear Tire Hugger Yellow 01 929 Yeah the link I posted was one that looked a bit short but I have seen others that seemed like they would provide fairly decent coverage. All in all you will probably never get one that will keep your undertail totally clean.

Re: Wanted Rear Tire Hugger Yellow 01 929 it seems like I might do better to make one out of aluminum or something.

Re: Wanted Rear Tire Hugger Yellow 01 929 I have one like the pic, but without the concave part on top. It keeps the shock and most of the under-tail clean, but not all of it. It came with the bike so I can't tell you what kind it is, sorry. On the looks side it's sweet, I painted a couple of black lines down it.
