Re: REAR SEAT PAD RC51

If you just need it for a tail pack then you might be better off with a well shaped piece of foam. NO?

Not sure if I've ever seen an RC with a rear seat.

Re: REAR SEAT PAD RC51

The last one I saw went for about $117 plus shipping!

I have never used the one from my 04 Nicky Hayden replica...it came with the black rubber gasket to protect the tail paint. It's boxed up with the original unblemished Nicky bodywork and tank while my RC does track duty.

For touring, you might see if you can find a passenger seat in poor condition, torn, etc...I've seen some guys even bolt their tailpack directly to the seat pan for travel. Then simply unlock the seat/tailpack and reinstall the tail cover for sport riding.
