| Re: WTB 929 corbin or sargent seat Go with the Sargent seat. Corbin has some severe anti crush foam that supposedly molds to you- I'm still waiting after 3 years on my VTR. The Sargent seat is pretty straight forward and duplicates the original seat dimensions but gives you about 1 1/2" inch more foam right in the pressure points that need support. I ride horses as well and the padding placement used with the Sargent is very similar to what you find on very high dollar saddles.
I have another question for the group. Going to Pilot Race rubber with the dual compound. Planned on using Metzler Racetech's but could not get a 190/50 profile, only he 190/55 that is way too tall for this bike due to the rake/trail dimensions-------any thoughts out there? |
