Wanted - exhaust hanger bracket for early blade

I am fitting a targa tail cowl to my 1993 Blade and, as I will have no need for the pillion pegs, want to remove them.

Anyone know where I can get a exhaust hanger bracket to do the job the right side pillion peg bracket does at the moment?

You can do what I did. I bought an old peg bracket off of ebay, hacked off the peg mounts and sanded everything down until it was flush. I did it all with hand tools but it would probably be easier with some power tools.

Re: Wanted - exhaust hanger bracket for early blade

Trust me, if I can do it, anyone can. Didn't do well in shop, wood and metal classes were a pain.

I actually used a hacksaw to cut off the peg brackets. Then used a heavy duty rasping file to get the rest down. Used smaller and smaller files that I had lying around, then sanded and polished the entire thing to make it all look the same. The only thing that is left is the little crevice that the beg spring mechanism sat in, but I think it looks cool and adds a bit of style.
