Need "trunk" lock for 93 900RR

Hello,

I just joined Fireblades.org recently, as I just purchased a 93 900RR. Most everything on my bike works great, but the "trunk" lock is damaged beyond repair. I need a replacement lock cylinder assembly, preferably with the key. I'd be interested in a complete set (ignition/gas cap/trunk) as well if somebody has that available.

One thing you might consider is a lock off the trunk of a F4i.

I did a custom tail on my 94 and had a similar issue. A guy I new informed me that a lock smith can re-key honda motorcycle locks to most other honda key combinations.

I bought a trunk lock with the cable and all clips and parts for $10. I can't remember what year but I don't think it matters. I took it and my ignition key to this local, good locksmith and he re-keyed it to match my existing key in 1 day for $20.

The F4i uses a cable to release the trunk remotely which worked great for me, but isn't what you need. However you said just the lock cylinder, which is likely the same in the F4i.
