| Looking for 929 rear wheel I am looking for a rear wheel for a 2001 929. I hit a pot hole and blew out both wheels. I have a line on a front wheel, but still need the rear. Could possibly take front and rear if the price is right. I don't need rotors or axles or anything, but again, I could take them if the price is right. Thanks.

| Re: Looking for 929 rear wheel I think I still have a rear wheel from a 954 in my garage, which is a direct replacement (and a bit lighter, actually). It has no rotor, sprocket or cush drive. I'll check tonight. |

| Re: Looking for 929 rear wheel Try a 1000RR wheel.
Sprocket carrier and disc are the same and the wheel bolts straight in.
It's nearly 500gms lighter as well. Mine are '06 wheels but I assume they're the same from '04-'07 - no idea about the '08.
If you want it to match the front wheel is also a straight bolt-in with the 929/954 discs. I forgot to weigh the front wheel when I changed the tyre but I'm changing it again next week so I'll let you know if the front is also lighter than the 929 wheel.
