1992 ORIGINAL FireBlade wanted

After reading a recent magazine report on them and after seeing a forum post on dream bikes I once again got wondering on how I might get mine.

Has anybody any knowledge at all on where to start looking for a 1992 original FireBlade in mint condition with all OE kit on it?

I know this is an awful long shot but a dream is a dream so just though I'd ask. At the very least I can have very many happy hours looking at pics of them on the net if I just know where to start.

Oh and I am in Ireland but anywhere in Europe would be a good start.

I would think that if you could find a pristine all original one it'd be well above market value - and still have eighteen-year-old bearings, brakes, engine, suspension, controls, cables, electrics and paint.
Personally, I'd buy a trashed one for as little as possible, strip it to the ground and restore it from scratch if you want to have a pristine one at the end that you'd want to keep forever.
UK parts prices might make that a non-viable option though?
Set up Ebay searches and they'll email you whenever something you want comes available.

Sideshow found his 1995 Blade (mint condition, low miles, paper trail etc) through Bike Trader 3 years ago, and luckily it was located at a dealer just a few miles from us.. He went, he saw and he fell in love and bought it.. They are out there, check Bike Trader, Ebay as well as they do pop up on there, MCN to name a few.. Good luck in your search

They are out there. Search, search, search, search, and search. When you are tired of searching, search some more. Be patient!! When I decided that I wanted to get another '94, I searched high and low for one in original condition. I searched on eBay and cycletrader every day to see if anything would come up. Then I would search on Craigslist and literally go through each city using different combinations of key words such as, cbr900rr, cbr 900 rr, cbr900, 900rr. I finally found one that was 10 hours away from me. I got a friend to take the ride with me and we picked it up! All of the diligence paid off. You can do it too.
