| Re: WTB cbr954 engine gasket kit If you have some legitimate experience to offer could you _please_ make an effort to do so in english :-)
If English is not your first language maybe try in your first language and we can try translating it via Google.
You seem like lots of fun but it's really hard to know :-)

| Re: WTB cbr954 engine gasket kit I have not the faintest idea what you are trying to say to me or anybody else, but what I find most surprising is that you are clearly able to read what we say to you?
If I read right you seem to be saying that you were a Honda mechanic for 27 years?
If that's correct, then you probably have a lot of useful information to contribute to the site but I really can't see how you're going to be able to unless you make the effort to use readable English.
Please understand that I'm not trying to be obnoxious.
Do you ride currently?
What do you ride?

| Re: WTB cbr954 engine gasket kit I would say stick with OEM - unless you can find a local shop that can get an aftermarket one - Never had a problem with aftermarket ones on car engines etc.

| Re: WTB cbr954 engine gasket kit I wouldn't waste your time getting upset with him :-)
His writing is quite similar to a mate of mine that suffers ADHD when he's off his meds so perhaps he's just ill and is actually trying to help in his own way?
As for the gaskets I don't buy kits. Well, I did actually buy one for a KZ750 some years but I never used it :-)
Frankly, stripping and rebuilding your engine is a big investment of your time more than your money and it just isn't worth the risk of having to pull a well-built motor down again because of a $5 seal. If you were saving hundreds of dollars I'd say go for aftermarket but I prefer to buy high quality seals and bearings direct from the various manufacturer's rather than from Honda.
