NEED 2001 929rr lower engine case

I have laid down my 2001 929rr and cracked the lower engine case, and a piece also broke off, where the stator cover mounts to.

My budget is very tight right now, as i have had to buy alot of other parts too.

If anybody can help me out by selling me the case, or letting me know where i can get a hold of one cheap.....please let me know. I need a whole case. I am following the advice of everybody that has sent me a message or PM'd me on here (not to use a mismatched case halve).

you can e-mail me at: netmoneymaker@yahoo.com

Thanks for your time.

My thanks to those of you who have contacted me to give me advice and tech data on my bike.......

This is fairly common on the 929/954.
Can yours be welded or epoxied?

Re: NEED 2001 929rr lower engine case

i took it to a shop and had a couple welders look at it. they all said that it wouldn't weld together good and would probly leak afterwards. at least 25% of the collar where the stator cover mounts is broken completely off, and another 25% is cracked and bend out.

Certainly sounds like a mess.
Hopefully you can find another motor without too much trouble.
