need a Marchesini cush drive 03RC51 forged 10spoke Aluminum

Got a nice wheel but no drive.

Does someone out there wish to sell a cushdrive?

Kindest regards,

If you can't get one they're a fairly simple machining job so it shouldn't be too big a job to make one.

Bladeracer:
you Oz dudes have a very good reputation for machining / manufacturing things.

I'd have to get a template or spec drawings and go from there.

Else I'd have to take the stock piece and sort of reverse engineer the piece.

Thanks for the idea, never X'd my braincells.

Have you tried emailing Marchesini or your local distributor?
Marchesini

Can you send me some pics of your wheel?
If my sprocket carrier is the same I should be able to give you measurements and/or drawings. Does your wheel have the cushdrive rubbers in it or do you need to make those as well? Do you know what sprocket pattern your wheel would normally run?
The Marchesini wheel on my 929 is a three spoke Ducati wheel. The sprocket carrier is essentially just a flat plate of 6061 with a boss machined on the outside to take the outer bearing. Then five bolts are pressed through it to take the sprocket and the bolt heads fit into the cushdrive to transmit power to the wheel. The cushdrive is just five chunks of rubber cut into the wheel hub with a steel insert in each that the bolt heads fit into.

I'll have to get you those.
GOt all the rubbers, they are a 2 piece rectangular conical with 5 pieces.
This is the new design so a different carrier but the same basic idea.
Will get you the pics regardless.

I have contacted Marchesini, Distributors: Lockhart, TAW; Retail/ Distributors: Dan Kyle Racing, EDR in Portland (who is currently doing work on my bike) and have my pleas on all the forums.

Thanks for the help, at the very least I am learning more about my bike.

Kindest Regards,

Paul
