WTB: 03 954 Lower triple with lock nuts

Hey guys, Im a noob to this site and I really appreciate these forums! I recently purchaced an 03 954 and the more I touch it the more problems I find. My current issue is the steering stem is JACKED UP... When I purchased it I noticed a little play and figured I could just change the bearings. Wrong - not sure what causes it but the threads were separating (pealing off) as I started to remove the nut. So, now I am in the market for a lower triple with at least the bottom lock nut. Thanks in advance for any and all help!

Also, are there any other models that will swap, ie.. 900/929, possibly others?

I would think you couldt use 1000RR clamps as well.

Sorry, I was stuck at work with no internet. How can I verify this? Call a dealer for cross ref?

Dealers wouldn't have a clue.
Find a 1000RR and take some measurements would be a start.
Finding a clamp and measuring it up is the surest way.

Can you re-thread yours a couple of mm smaller maybe?
Or cut the top off, thread the inside, screw in a piece of 6061 and cut a new thread on that.
