| North Bay Ride this weekend? Anyone up for a quick (4 hour) scoot around Lake Berryessa this weekend? I have a new set of leathers to try out. They're bright green so I'm painfully visible to everyone, including the international space station. Any takers? CBRJack? Zimmy? RacerCutie? (I can't remember Ben's last name or screen name...the really fast nut on the 929, you know who you are )? |

| Re: North Bay Ride this weekend? Hey Ross, I could be up for a ride this weekend. I was hoping for new tires but it looks like I'll be waiting for special order. If it's an easy pace I'm in. My rubber has kind of lost it's feel and likely to be CHP enforcement on the weekend warm weather and all. Send me a PM. |

You'll remember how I rode last time we were out - I'm fairly low intensity. When do you want to meet? The earlier, the less boat traffic we'll have to contend with. I should also preface this with - I don't know the roads all that well out there. I'll bring a map with me |

| Re: North Bay Ride this weekend? We might be up for it this weekend - SLODUCK, come on - let's see the new bike you've been hiding from us.
The only problem is the distance. We're running DOT tires that we're saving for an upcoming trackday. (don't want to wear them out too much).
I'll let you know though if we decide! |

Hmmm...tell you what. If you guys make it for the ride, my house isn't that far the lake - after the ride, I'll fire up the grill and we'll BBQ, tell lies about scraping knees, and rest. MarlaEagle (the wifey) isn't quite ready for Berryessa just yet, but she'll be around for the BBQ. If you're up for it let me know, I'll pick up some grub.

I'd Wish I have a new bike. I had a 1000RR reserve for me but the timing was a little off so knip (Justin) bought the bike instead. I may not be able to ride but I am in for BBQ and telling lies about scrapping knees and all that, because I am good on telling lies about my riding.

| Re: North Bay Ride this weekend? Here's a few pics from the ride today. Our route followed the western side of lake berryessa to Calistoga and over 29 to Lakeville and back along the Silverado trail. The roads were in great condition and not too much traffic. Only three of us on the ride so guess who's in all the pictures. Ross' friend Fred is all in black, Ross (symon jester) in the green leathers, and yours truly in the black and silver.

I apologize in advance for forgetting the name of the guy who joined us (Frank I think). I was sorry I couldn't join you guys...I heard you had a great time though! |

| Re: North Bay Ride this weekend? Great ride CBRJack! That was an amazing set of roads.
For those of you wondering, "how many miles can I go before my tank runs empty" - I suggest it's around 138.4 miles...
(oh, and his name was Fred, not Frank ) |
