| Re: seattle area Yes, visit Seattle. Go down to Pier ??? (it's right off downtown). Pretty cool vibe. That's also where the space needle is ( ) and the nightlife is alright.
Not much to see at the beaches, but if you want to drive on the beach and be the only one you see for miles, Grayland and Westport are okay.
Of course, Mounts Rainier and St. Helens are a spectacle, and the Rainier drive onto the park is beautiful (towards "top of the world"?, and the glacier hike point.) http://www.mount.rainier.national-park.com/ |

| Re: seattle area Pike Place market is an absolute must if you're visiting Seattle. There are also some cool dinner cruises by a company called Argosy that go way out into Puget Sound and provide an awesome view of the Seattle skyline at night. Experience Music Project is also cool but costs a good amount of scrilla. Don't wast your time at the boeing museum, I found it was pretty lame. Oh, and if you like asian cuisine, there's a great restaurant called Wild Ginger that you should try. If you like wine, Chateau Ste. Michelle is not far outside of the city. Seattle is a great city, and a refreshing change from most on the east coast. You'll enjoy it.
