| Re: So-Cal Peeps: Bike Show at Pro Italia 8-12 Well, NDD and I went up.
I didn't take my cam but it was all right. MV Agusta was pretty well represented, there were customer Tamburini, 07 Senna, and even the 07 F4 R, which is the first I've seen or heard of in the US. It came in yesterday.
I wasn't too impressed with any of the Ducs there, though there were many.
By far, IMO, the coolest bike there was someone's Harley XR750 Dirt Tracker. I don't know who that guy knew to get it registered, but it was my favorite Harley I've ever seen. I tried to take a pic with my camera phone but screwed up storing it.
There was also one of the V8 Morbidelli ? bikes there. Neat little engine. |

The old harley and a turn of the century Ducati in damn near pristine condition were the vintage highlights.
The saving grace was the ride back in the S-2000 (which is like a bike with 4 wheels), and these awesome cookies we got at a bakery. |

Actually, we did. We tried a new Italian place by LTL's house. It sucked, which made the cookies that much better. |

Yeah, NDD drove a long way to go to that. I'd have been a bit disappointed too.
But it was cool to meet a few guys from the MV board, and seeing that Harley was worth quite a bit of traffic slog. Hopefully someone on the MV board will put up a pic of it. |
