I talk to cops all the time and they don't have a problem at all, and people move out of my way when i am going 140+ on the highway...So whats the problem? Everybody has there own thing they do, so why worry about them...If they kill themself then so be it... whats the big problem? |

| Re: TO ANYONE IN SOCAL*************** And the big problem is after you wiz-on-by @ 140. You scare the sheep, and then they take it out on the next poor guy on a sportbike that had nothing to do with your insanity.
Other people are paying the bills on the checks you write.
I get the dirty looks, I get the obscene gestures and foul language, I get the cars that try to squeeze-play on me, my insurance company doesn't want to insure my sportbike in SoCal for less than a King's ransom, and I have image problems with my MSF program because of people like that (like you, jerk).
You're not impressing anyone, you're pissing them off. |

| Re: TO ANYONE IN SOCAL*************** Thanks!
I'm the Program Coordinator @ Naval Base Ventura County. I'm certified for everything. I teach, but not on a regular basis, my instructor does most of that. I've been out on the ATV course more than anything as of late.
I'm not grumpy, I go out and carve some turns every once in awhile, I just don't like irresponsible exhibitionism that causes us all trouble. |

| Re: TO ANYONE IN SOCAL*************** Chris, I actually went down to SoCal for the Ultimate ride and it was incredible! 300 miles of absolutely beautiful canyons. When I used to live in OC I used to do Ortega, but it was no comparison. I also did Angeles Crest, and Sand Canyon which were also great rides. I am envious of what you all have there with year round riding and all. I am trying to come up with a good 300 miler up here in the rockies of Utah, but will have a tough time coming close.
