I am buying a bike next weekend. On my way home to Tucson I will need to spend a night near Los Angeles in a motel. Any suggestions. What are the nicer suburbs of L.A. where I can stay in a travel motel for under $100 but not have a crack deal happening in the next room over?

I also am planning on asking for a ground level room so I have 'inside parking'

if you're a AAA member, contact a AAA office in L.A. Their travel agents have offered me good advice in the past.

which freeway are you taking out of LA to arizona, burbank is just east of LA and is nice. Riverside should be on your way. there are plenty of nicer areas there that shouldn't be too expensive.
