And if you do, don't worry, it's a big club you will have joined. We have jackets. My favorite drop was the time I took off without remembering to remove my disc brake lock. I had it on the front of the wheel, so I got about 7/8ths of a revolution, just enough to lift up my foot and BANG, I was on the ground. Thankfully, noone saw it and the bike survived with only a few scratches.
Disc brake locks are crap anyhow. Strap the bike to something or don't bother.
