| Re: Man, I love Arizona! Yeah, I went for about a 15 min. ride Sat., it got up to 40 deg. here. I couldn't wait any more, had to try out the PC111 and new Hindle. WOW! Thanks for the maps, K9inAZ, the bottom end is like butta! It was too cold to give it a good test, but from what I could tell it's immensely better than than before.

I could set half the state on fire today, and it would still be too cold to ride! |

I took a short ride here yesterday - it was a balmy 38 degrees (hey, but at least the sun was out! ). Still fun, though, as always! Just wish it could have lasted for more than 10 minutes. |

Most of the rides are pretty close to the East valley, but few really good rides are about an hour to outside the valley. We have Bartlett Lake (rattlesnake cove), Canyon Lake/Tortilla Flats, Yarnell hill, Skull Valley, Bagdad run, White Spars, Salt River Canyon, Mt. Lemmon, Oak Creek valley and the Devil's highway (mini Deal's Gap!). There are more but, I can't remember the names of them. Once you get out of the valley, we have alot of pretty kick ass twisty roads.

| Re: Man, I love Arizona! ***This post is NOT intended to offend fumbducker in any way*** I already felt his wrath earlier in the winter for bragging about AZ riding weather. Now on with the bragging. I rode to work today and it's..ohh, like 80 degrees out. Not too shabby for February if ya ask me. Rode all weekend too, put on like 200 or so miles on some of the local twisties like Mt. Lemmon and Arivaca Rd.

| Re: Man, I love Arizona! Wow that normal 1 hour drive took me 40 miles out of the way and 3 1/2 hours to get home. It is 83 at my house right now.....whew, gettin warm. Supposed to be even warmer tomorrow can't wait for that ride home tomorrow night.
Bacchus: Arivaca is a sweet road, little bumpy with my suspension settings but very twisty with a lot of elevation changes. It's a good way to get out of town and almost never worry about cops. I'll PM ya next time we go and maybe you can tag along.
