Have you tried your local shoemaker? Some of those guys repair not only shoes but other leather items. That's where I took my leathers to be repaired. Hopefully, you'll be able to find someone relatively close.

Thanks, but those are all retailers of fashion leathers for pretty people. Wrong market altogether.

There are some possibilities in the shoe repair area, though.
