Motorcyclist Killed After High-Speed Crash * WARNING PICTURES *

****WARNING PICTURES FOLLOW****

Hope its not a repost...

Really dont know what to say about these kind of riders... Why ?? Why go that fast on public streets.

At least this squid killed himself rather some innocent family.

Motorcyclist Killed After High-Speed Crash Overnight Tuesday April 17, 2007 11:07am Posted By: Kevin King

Tulsa - A Broken Arrow man was killed early Tuesday morning after a motorcycle accident on Highway 169 near 81st Street.

Witnesses say the cyclist was going faster than 100 miles per hour when he crashed into the back of a semi truck between 81st and 91st Street at about one o'clock Tuesday morning.

Investigators say evidence shows the cyclist was going about 120 miles per hour at the time of the impact. It took the truck driver more than a quarter of a mile to come to a stop. When he did, he stepped out of his rig and found the motorcyclist dead at the back of the truck.

"The truck driver was not hurt," says Captain Matt Kirkland. "He said that the impact was so strong that he thought he was hit from behind by another truck."

Officers said there was no indication that drugs or alcohol played a factor in the accident.

Re: Motorcyclist Killed After High-Speed Crash * WARNING PICTURES *

There have been a lot of accidents lately, stay safe and ride safe. +75 is for the track, not public roads. Some will say "so what", but ^^^ it's your body.

Like the bad r1 accident in romania,it all comes down to speed on the public roads,Lucky he didnt kill some innocent family or person,as in both accidents the bikes were completely destroyed(indicating fast speeds),imagine one of them coming full noise at you!!. Ride within your limits, not someone else's.

Man...this is so sad. I live in Tulsa and I heard that his friend got killed on the same highway just a mile or so behind him from a motorcycle wreck the day after his funeral? Thats so sad. I am a biker and this really wakes me up. Hopefully these deaths will prompt others to slow down. RIP. My condolences to the family.

Also, everyone is calling him an idiot...which is dumb. Call him a hero for saving other bikers that see these pictures and slow down because of it. I know I will. Thank you. Thank you for saving me.

No no, he's an idiot alright. If there were no more accidents like this after and as a result of his death, maybe he would be a hero. But in reality he's just another idiot like all the idiots that will crash and die like this in time to come.

It looks like the cause of death (apart from instant deceleration) is a snapped spine. The shoulders and neck have moved forward as the lower chest was kept back.

What is the speed limit on the highway there? 60mph? So if he collided into the rear of a truck at 120 his impact speed would've only been 60.

It looks like he was riding a kwaka. Not that that means anything.

Yeah it's 65 MPH down Highway 169. Not much traffic at 1am. My brother has rode with him a time or two...says he's really good guy...just made a dumb decision.

I feel for his family & friends, guy couldve been one of the best mates you know.Did he leave behind a family of his own?Ive got two kids which are the world to me and i know theres plenty of people like me out there, and i always ride within my limits.problem is to many young kids out there can get a high powered machine and have no experience what so ever and go out there and think its all about scraping the knee and high speed.
Indeed he is an idiot,he payed the ultimate price.....RIP
We are not MOTOGP riders and the streets are not race tracks, have fun, enjoy your ride, get out on the track and see how you go,last thing you need is this to happen.
Far from a hero........
