Wow, I've been riding now for almost ten years, and this is only the second time I've seen a wreck like that...funny that both of them involved a tree, though with the other one, I was actually there when it happened and it involved a guardrail AND a tree.
The rider is lucky that he only suffered such minor injuries...in the other one, the guy had major internal damage, and when he woke up two days later, as far as he knew it, he'd gone to sleep on Wednesday and woke up Saturday in the hospital. Oh, and the crash happened Thursday night. Yeah. |
