| Re: PICS OF PROJECT " WIFE DONT KNOW" If the frame is straight and the engine is good 800.00 sounds like a good deal for a project bike. Don't sell the damper your gonna want it on there when you ride that bike. Good luck.
All caps are rude and considered the same as shouting in public. Quote: |

| Re: PICS OF PROJECT " WIFE DONT KNOW" No hassles here pal, it's no skin off my nose but I thought I'd mention it as alot of folk find it offensive, not to mention regular lettering is much easier to read.
What work needs doing on your blade? |

| Re: PICS OF PROJECT " WIFE DONT KNOW" I need to replace the block, front wheel, left side bodywork, and my key "got lost" when the tow truck dropped my bike at home. The only good thing is that winter is starting here and I'll have some time for the repairs before Summertime |

| Re: PICS OF PROJECT " WIFE DONT KNOW" Do you guys have the HISS system over there? If you do, and you have no key, your screwed.
Bodywork shouldnt be that hard to find, ebay and places like that are a good place to start.
Winter? Wah? Its Spring/Summer here - your side of the pond is confusing

| Re: PICS OF PROJECT " WIFE DONT KNOW" H.I.S.S. is Hondas own factory anti-theft system which features a fail-safe electronic interlock that prevents the engine from being started in any other way than using the motorcycle's two original keys. Totally disabling the engine at the very heart of its ignition system, the system cannot be bypassed by either hot-wiring the ignition or exchanging the ignition switch module, thus effectively deterring joyriders and greatly reducing the possibility of ride-away theft.
If you look at your ignition barrel, there might or might not be a surround with the words HISS printed on it. (See picture for more information)

| Re: PICS OF PROJECT " WIFE DONT KNOW" Ok Twin don't confuse us Yank's, no our bikes do not have the HISS system. I for the life of me can't understand why. Its summer time on this side of the pond as well. Its the Aussies, Kiwi's and such who are going into winter. |

I completely destroyed my Erion going about 35. only thing that didn't look broken was the frame and subframe but those could have been bent also. wasn't much point buying back a possibly bent frame for $990 (cause the rest was junk) |

| Re: PICS OF PROJECT " WIFE DONT KNOW" i just picked up a gsxr 600 that some dude crashed. i picked it up for $700 and only dunmped 800 into it, 500 in just fairings. i did all the polishing and work myself and the bike is sick now. my wife at first was like why did you buy that piece of crap but by the time i was done, i was being congratulated on how much of a"MAN" i am for turning crap to gold. i could easily sell it now for 3-4Gs. when your wife finds out it will be cool cause then either she'll leave you or get over it and when the bike is done, you either sell it or ride it you can say i did it HA. |
