| Hit and Run at Home Depot Rode to Home Depot (home dePOT were all the potheads converge) to pick up a couple of bolts. Parked by myself with no one around for 3 spaces. Spent 30min in the store, jumped on the bike and the clutch lever was broken. Got off and looked, my left middle cowl is all scratched. At this point im giving the benefit of the doubt. I ask the manager at Home Depot to look at the cameras. He wouldn't without a cop. So we called the cops then we looked at the tape. The tape was blurry but we could see what happened. A f*cking moron in the adjacent isle pulled out and hit my bike with the front of his truck (bike is still all by itself). He gets out of the truck and picks the bike up and takes off. WTF? Again, the video was blurry so we cant make out faces or license plates. The only thing we could do is track the person from the cash register and got his credit card number. The cops are going to try to track the person from the credit card number. Drove the bike home with a quarter of the clutch lever. I doubt the cops will find the guy. I was in the process of finding some good frame sliders, guess its too late now.
I'm thinking tapeworks.com to cover the scratches. What do you guys think?
Id like a set of new plastics, but I hear bad things about the Hong Kong plastics.

Re: Hit and Run at Home Depot I think the dude needs a couple of these That sucks! The nerve of some people! People don't realize how expensive it is to repair a bike. The guy probably thought "It's just plastic, nothing major" I hope they catch him or you spot him on the streets

Re: Hit and Run at Home Depot what a prick. some people just dont f**** get it. Thats why i generally park in a spot, rather up by the entrance. Hope they catch him and you get all new parts from him and then some, and then they should charge him criminally for hit and run, and leaving the scene of an accident

Re: Hit and Run at Home Depot That sucks man, if the have vid and a credit card number you'll make out okay. Better than the time I came out of the mall and found my wing on it's side with one of the saddle bags busted.

Re: Hit and Run at Home Depot The cops have to sopeana the credit card company for a name and address. I guess you could park in front of the store, but most of the time it is a fire lane.

Re: Hit and Run at Home Depot That really sucks, if it isnt that hot asphalt its the morons not paying attention. I finally gave up and park on the concrete in front of the building next to the lawn mowers at the Home Depot or Lowes and on the sidewalk most every where else. As long as your not blocking a fire exit or blocking walk ways you are good.
