Good luck with it & with saving for the new bike. |

| Re: WHOO HOO,New Leg Hi Exblader, soon to a Blader again in the new year I believe if every thing goes to plan .
I have just read through you initial posts after joining this forum
Firstly I am sorry to hear of your misfortune, but so glad to hear of your very brief visit to the pearly gates.
I would just like to say that bad things can happen to people from birth, and sometimes they are thrust upon us, and normally we have no say in the matter. In your case this being so.
If only everyone could take a leaf out of your book and be as positive as you, then I'm sure this world of ours would be a better place.
I commend, and respect you in your valiant efforts and determination, especially to get back riding again.
Moving on .....the leg looks awesome!! Be better with a Welsh Dragon on it tho!! But I don't mind as we are celts together!!!!!
Keep positive and look forward to updates on a speedy recovery and your comments on the forum.
All the best butty

| Re: WHOO HOO,New Leg thanx to one and all for your kind thoughts, funny comments, great ideas and thoughtfull designs, you hav all made me feel very happy and high spirited, destructo ! nice 1 about the boot mate, wish i had thought of that before ,jazzy ! your right,we are ! but we all belong to a big and better clan that is bikers .And macca your dead right about the washing mate .especially as i swap them over on the 2nd day. Also just to let you all know that it was a bit of bad news at the specialist on weds, the arm is going to need another operation as the bones have not fused together properly and must be sorted out .but the good news is i asked if they would postpone it for 6 mnths so i can get back to work, and they said yes !! So am going back to driving artic's,but just parttime up to xmas, maybe 3 nights a week,so all in all friends things are getting better and on the up !! thanx to you all, once again. |

| Re: WHOO HOO,New Leg thanx twincam,no not yet, when you get a new 1 they are a bit tight to start with and my latest comes up and over the knee cap more than the last,so its getting used to that also !! I still need to use 1 walking stick as my right leg is still not prop healed yet,as i broke my femur in 2 places which has a plate running from hip down to the knee and have a metal plate in my knee which is all held together with 10 screws, and my muscles are needing to get built up more as they deteriated when i was off the legs for 4 mnths.so i can walk about but not really far yet and still need my wheelchair for going around town or for shopping etc,but am getting there slowely but surely, i was goin to put up sum pics of my arm and leg !! do you think that would be ok,or in bad taste ?? anyone ?? |

If you really wanted to put them up your choices are.....
Put them on a post in this thread
Put them in your gallery
Or Start a new thread with a warning in the title , if you think it may upset some people.
Which ever you decide to do there will always be someone that doesn't know the full history of this thread as they were too lazy to read it from the beginning!!!!!
In saying that post it here then. Most people for the better part know what this thread is all about.....or start a new thread.
If still in doubt PM Twincam he might actually still be online.
See ya soon butty

| Re: WHOO HOO,New Leg I don't see a problem with it... Many people have posted pictures of their severed fingers etc...
Just add something like Warning: Images may be disturbing or something along them lines to warn others.
I think its like when you have to wear in new shoes/trainers... Take time.
