| watched a blade go up in smoke...... well it wasn't mine, but yesterday i litterally watched my friends 929 burn to the ground.. we had been out playing, and were heading back to our usual meeting spot, cruising along one of the highways something popped or fell off, we think it was his oil drain plug and his bike caught fire. took him a minute to realize it was on fire. he got pulled over to the side of the road, and our entire group stopped (about 20) stood back and watched his baby burn down to frame and tank. (no explosions) sad day in nashville for a honda fan.. luckily he already owned an 06 1krr as well, and he'll prolly end up with an 09 out of the deal after insurance, but he cherished his royal blue 929... i can't send my pics from my phone to my email, so if someone wants to send me their # i'll send them to you to post up.. | |

| Re: watched a blade go up in smoke...... yeah there was oil all over my bike, i'm guessing from the road spray.. insurance came along great, he's now the proud owner of a 2007 600rr as a daily thrasher as well as his 06 1krr.. but he still misses his mistress.. |
