| Fatal A motorcycle crash claims the lives of both riders. The morning of Sunday March 22nd around 11:30 a ZX6R carrying two riders(possibly intoxicated) skid around a corner from excessive speed and pitched both people. The female passenger hit a metal pole shortly after being seperated from the bike killing her instantly. The male rider was pronounced dead on the sceen as well. Only one helmet was recovered. It was several feet from either body. A friend of mine towed the bike from the scene and gave me the skinny on the situation. Apparently, the new owner of the 05 ZX6R let his friend test ride his newly purchased machine. It was estimated that the test ride only lasted 4 minutes before turning fatal. The male rider had a lengthy criminal record as well as a previous DUI and did not have a valid driver license. The bike ended up at our (the company I work for shares a lot with two other two companies) tow lot. I've got pics of the bike on my phone. If I can get it figured, I'll upload them. Sad day for someones family compliments of irresponsibility and a powerful bike. |

| Re: Fatal first off, the most irresponsible person involved is the bike owner, letting someone who is intoxicated get on his bike in the first place.
secondly( )the two that got on the bike drunk IMHO disserved what they got.......more clorine in the gene pool please
they could have easily killed some pedestrian standing on the curb.....

| Re: Fatal Do remember and regard the word possibly. CSP found alcohol in the passengeres car. No autopsy has confirmed these ideas. |

| Re: Fatal To many possibilities surrounding this story to justify lambasting the riders just yet. You have to feel sorry for the passenger in this scenario, possibly overwilled by her male partner, leading to her demise.

| Re: Fatal can't say they got what they deserved but definitely shouldn't have been driving drunk. I wonder if the owner will be prosecuted, if he knew the guy was intoxicated. Involuntary manslaughter sounds like |
