| My wrecked RC51 Just to start off, I was being totally stupid when this happened and have greatly learned to never ride over my head or let the testosterone dictate how I ride.
Anywho, this was back in June of 07'. My buddy and I were out just playing around one day, just bored. We found a little strip of road that was a dead end and basically a good strip to have a little race on. I started not to, but the whole, I don't want to whimp out thought crossed my mind. There was a slight turn in the road and when I got to it I was doing probably about 110mph and I leaned thought I was going to make it then the bike slipped and front tire went off the road and bucking me off in the air.
I landed head/left shoulder first on the ground with the bike barrell rolling directly behind me. In the midts of it rolling it landed on my foot on one of the rolls and I kicked at the bike to get a bit aways from it. At that time the adrinaline was quite high and the pain just hadn't settled in and I felt fine, but after a few hours I ended up going to the hospital to get checked out. Luckly I was wearing my gear when this happend and I was not on the pavement where I landed and started sliding and avoided going into trees that was right off the side of the road.
I ended up having a cat scan on my head, xray on my foot and pevis. Everything came back fine other then my foot was swollen and DR said I probably brusied a bone. My pelvis had a huge bruise on it for a long time and I was supposed to walk on crutches for a few weeks, that lasted a whole day.
Moral of the story, I was very stupid and paid the price. Lucky the RC was repairable but its been a long year and I've almost got her back on the road. Anyways here are some pics. |

| Re: My wrecked RC51 I am going to assume since you're telling us about this you at least had some riding gear on, great example of what just a moments testosterone induced stupidty can cause. Glad your'e okay and thanks for sharing an example of what no tto do.
