954 Rider Went Down

My 2002 954 went down it the canyons. I just got her not 2 months ago, was so proud. Not used to the power, and got greedy with the throttle on exit, lowsided on glendora mountain road here near los angeles in california. This is what she sorta looked like before and after some fiberglass and lots of bondo.
The 954 is such a rare bike around here not a single person walks by without asking me what it is.
I see about 2 dozen new 1098s/1198s every weekend, and its funny watching those guys stroll by scratching their heads.

Did you do all of the work including spraying yourself?

Looks quite a tidy job - now dont go sending her off down the road again!

Re: 954 Rider Went Down

Frame-sliders/mushrooms/crash-bungs half of the people I know those things saved most of their plastics, unfortunately the other half, the bolt broke off inside the engine case or distorted their frame when they went down. For me, fixing and painting plastic is a lesser evil, since all the work I do myself.
