2002 CBR 954RR DOWN

Got the bike around 4 weeks ago and this is first time riding. Already past 1400 miles mark . Will probably get flamed for getting 1k as first bike. Anyways buddy called me last night (11pm) to meet up @ local McDonald. I was reaching the destination and was about to get to one way McDonald entrance and there was gravel all over the pavement which was hard to notice since it was dark + my lights (street fighter mask) are not that good. Happened so quick that by the time my buddy walked out of MD saw me trying to start the bike which i already picked up He tought i stalled it as a newbie rider. Just got a few scratches on my leg and arm, nothing I can't get through. Damage to the bike very minimal since the right side slider took all "love" and that's what it is for. Bent rear brake peg, just the end of it, little scratch on the stator cover and exhaust which is cut short (not the stock). I'll post up the pics when i get a chance. Just scares me what can happen @ like 10MPH . Just got my tire replaced since the old one started showing steel wires, i know i waited way too long with it. Upgraded from 190 to 200. Don't see much diff in handling. Ride safe.

Re: 2002 CBR 954RR DOWN

I was hit when doing about 10MPH... the damage to my blade came out to be £2360 and both me and my son needed physio.

Gravel is very dangerous - take caution in fuel stations etc.
