My 900 rr into something new....

So i have a 95 CBR 900 RR, the previous owner wanted to stunt the bike... did more damage then tricks. when i got it for the stout price of 900.00 she had 4 different color fairings on her and a funny lack of snap on take off... i had her in the garage for a bit waiting for a lengthy title process and now am on to making it something much better. a race bike.

The lack of snap was because he had a rear sprocket with 38 teeth on it... not really sure why... replaced it with a stock 43 tooth.

now on to the real question. I want to put a newer sleeker tail on the bike. i have read where a guy in Aus. swapped on a GSXR 1000 tail. and it looks quite sexy, but i would really like to put on a 2006 GSXR 750, the one with the turn signals in the fairings. is it possible to mount the GSXR 2006 plastic to the 2001 GSXR subframe?

Yes, using that tail is possible ... with enough fabricating effort. Anything can be hung from anything. But it certainly is not a straight bolt-on!

38 tooth rear sproket for stunting? Previous Owner was a confused person.

Most stunters are only good for one thing... selling their smashed up bikes to racers on the cheap lol

I race a '94 btw... really confuses the guys on modern bikes when I rail past them in the corners
