We all know that riding bikes is considered risky and dangerous, we still do it with a huge grin . I just pass this video along in hopes that better judgment comes into your head before twisting your wrist too far.
If it's a repost it's a repost but someone still could have missed it.

Anybody know a different link or has somebody saved it?

This video only scares the true riders and not the idiots out there. Blood, accident sceens, etc are not helpful at all. Low thread high performance is the way to go to help riders to become better riders. Challenge students or friends to become better, safe riders. |

| Re: Please watch this video and send it to other riders, both new and experienced. Good video. I watched it. You have to respect that bike every time you get on it. You forget that respect and your going down. Pray to god, he lets you get back up. Motorcycling is totally worth all the risk though, if you do it carefully.
Only comment on the vid is: don't call cops on stunt riding. They say it endangers everyone... but honestly how many times does a motorcyclist kill a car driver. Let the squid kill him/her self if he/she wants to. |

The squid is gone but lots of others still have to live with the damage he did.

I think those of us on this forum in particular (wrecked motorcycles) are not the problem. I don't know about you guys, but I come here to learn from the mistakes/mishaps of others so I do not make them my self. Anyone who is interested in there own personal safety enough to look on a good forum and try to better themselves as riders from the advice of other riders is not the real problem. I already knew motorcycles were dangerous. I already knew that you can't push a machine on the real streets like you could on a closed track. I am glad I watched the video because it reinforces what i already knew, and it is helpful to have a reminder every now and then.
The clowns/squids I see on the road are the ones who should watch this video, but would never take the time or even care. Safety? ATGATT just doesn't seem to get through to some folk. But I guess Darwin will eventually get them.
...And about the squidies only killing themselves...if you look at the 'squid of the day' video thread, you will see how alot of these stupid stunts results in them taking out OTHER BIKERS. Like hitting them from behind at high speed, losing control during a burnout and crashing into a car inches away from someone's Repsol blade. If I see these guys on the road, I get as far away as I can. |
